Mind Changing Learning Experience At Fulbright Fulbright University “the knowledge and skills i learned at fulbright were a source of growth, making me confident and mature. it did not only change my way of thinking but also helped me break through my limits. i moved from a small province in the central region to hanoi, the public policy hub of the country.”. I will share some personal experiences and the emotional rollercoaster that fulbright brings to my life. not only did fulbright make my study abroad dream come true, but it gave me mind expanding life experiences that i will treasure.
Mind Changing Learning Experience At Fulbright Fulbright University I am going to have the opportunity to learn about many countries in six weeks! this was the first thought that came to mind when it was announced that i was in the fulbright tea 2024. so far, i have had the chance to meet awesome people who are open to sharing about their cultures. Overall, i shared with the fraternity that using concrete and virtual manipulatives together created the most successful and metacognitive learning experience (with the most significant academic gains) for students instead of utilizing either approach individually. In 2017, fulbright sent me to america to study for my masters. in 2022, i received a ‘fulbright in the classroom’ grant, a welcome opportunity to give back—but to do so, i had to invent a new model to reach people with disabilities around the world. before i was a fulbright scholar, i was homeless. My fulbright journey may have come to an end, but the symphony of learning it ignited continues to resonate within me. i invite you, my fellow educators, to join me in weaving this melody.
