Michael Eck
Michael Eck Eckmichael Twitter Our laboratory studies the structural biology of cell signaling and the actin cytoskeleton. Michael j. eck professor of biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology, harvard medical school verified email at dfci.harvard.edu articles 1–20.
Michael Eck Eckmichael Twitter Eck is currently professor of biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology at the dana farber cancer institute and harvard medical school. his research focuses on the structure and regulation of tyrosine kinases in cancer and on structure based approaches to discovery of novel inhibitors. Lazertinib (yh25448) is a novel third generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor (tki) developed as a treatment for egfr mutant non small cell lung cancer. We have a long standing focus on egfr mutations in lung and other cancers, and have discovered mechanisms by which somatic mutations in the egfr kinase domain lead to catalytic activation and also sensitize to egfr directed inhibitors. We study cell signaling and regulation of the actin cytoskeleton using structural and biochemical approaches.
