Knit Pray Share Lord, i thank you that i have the freedom to meditate on your word both day and night. i give thanks that through the holy spirit, i am able to change my thoughts, attitudes and behaviors. i praise you that when i allow you to flow through me that i am no longer bound by fear and worry. I am a christian knitter who started the knit, pray, share movement to show god's love through knit or crochet items that we give away to people who make a difference in our day.

Reading the bible, meditating on what i am reading and weaving scripture into my memory are ways i am trying to do this. what are some ways you are weaving god’s word in you?. Just as each stitch and yarn i knit weave together something of beauty, god’s word does the same thing in our lives. he desires for his words to be woven into our life to bring about transformation to become more and more in the image of his son. Planting god’s word in my heart is something i strive to do. while all of verses i have tried to memorize over the years are not totally imprinted on my heart, i have to trust that even though i may not remember a scripture word for word, god will bring it to mind when i need it.
