Math 251 Ordinary And Partial Differential Equations Fall Semester 2008 Introduction to solid analytic geometry, vector algebra, and calculus of several variables. this is a tentative plan for the semester, but may change as needed. check the live course calendar for the most up to date information. this course is a synchronous in person course that meets mwf each week. Broad course learning goals: the students in math 251 are mostly science majors of some kind. they need to understand how to model problems that can be solved with calculus and then use calculus to solve those problems.
