Math 200 Calculus Iii Multivariable Calculus Course Outline Our goal is to extend our understanding from calculus i and ii into the higher dimension situation. we will repeat many of the greatest successes of calculus, and along the way we will discover and work through complexities that didn't manifest themselves in the one variable case. Course content: we will cover roughly the material in chapters 12 16 of stewart's book. grading scheme: there will be assignments (~ weekly) worth 15%, two mid terms (friday, oct. 7; wednesday, nov. 9) worth 20% each and a final exam worth 45%. Our goal is to help you gain a solid, deep, and portable understanding of multivariable calculus as well as its applications and uses in other fields.
