Making Music Through Interaction

Interaction Youtube Music Studying live interactions between multiple musicians at once enables the characterization of interpersonal dynamics that underlie everyday music making, such as mutual entrainment and joint improvisation. The chapters in this book explore the vibrant interactivity at work in all aspects of music making and show how detailed music analysis can attend to both the sounds made as well as the human lives and societies defined by and defining those sounds.

Promoting Interaction Youtube Music We review recent studies on musical interaction that offer the opportunity to take a novel, holistic approach to studying social communication through music in early childhood. This study explores how digital tools impact embodied interactions in musical contexts, focusing on their potential to both extend bodily experiences into digital spaces and risk diminishing the embodied essence of music. We introduce an interactive music system powered by ai generated content (aigc) that enables users to engage with music through multimodal interactions involving touch, sound, and spatial immersion. The current project applies dual eeg (hyperscanning) to explore how the neural activity of non experts making music together may be modulated by that experience, aiming to elucidate commonalities in the cognitive processes underlying spontaneous interaction in speech and music.
