Display Alignment Issue Scrolller Anyone know how to remedy this or is this normal with flip mounts? (magnifier not perfectly straight to red dot). When looking through the magnifier with proper eye relief i see a normal circular sight picture, and nothing looks off. also, as far as i can tell without shooting it yet, the dot doesn't seem to move at all when comparing the sight picture with and without the magnifier. thanks for the input. The crosshair inside the magnifier should perfectly align with the tip of the corner handle being dragged, allowing for pixel perfect adjustment of the crop area. Another thing about this that infuriates me is that when i open magnifier in it's docked position, my desktop icons become jumbled; once i close magnifier, the icons jump back to normal.

I'm playing around with this red dot and magnifier combination, and was curious if this vertical misalignment matters. if i use the spacer that came with the magnifier, then it sits too high by even more than it sits too low as shown without the spacer. Several factors can contribute to your screen not being aligned properly. these range from simple software glitches to hardware limitations. 1. incorrect display resolution settings. the most frequent culprit behind screen misalignment is an incorrect display resolution setting. I noticed that it doesn't line up perfectly with my red dot, and that the magnifier is slightly lower than the red dot by a few mm, but in looking through the sights it makes a pretty good picture. There should be a spacer to bring it up higher. there should be a riser that came with it if i’m not mistaken. using that should bring it to the appropriate height.
