Lpsc, bengaluru is responsible for design and realisation of propulsion systems for remote sensing and communication satellites and other scientific missions. Lpsc is the liquid propulsion systems centre of isro, responsible for research and development of propulsion systems for launch vehicles and spacecrafts. it has three units at valiamala, mahendragiri and bangalore, working on various projects such as pslv, gslv, geosat, irs and electric propulsion. Lpsc is a centre for design, development and realisation of liquid propulsion stages for isro's launch vehicles. it also develops fluid control valves, transducers, propellant management devices and other key components of liquid propulsion systems.
