Boardgamegeek Lost cities is a fun game and it has some nice nuances to it. after playing it a few times you see there may be more strategy in it than you thought. it is full of decisions and you can find yourself waiting for cards in one expedition by destroying another expedition. Set out on expeditions, but will your findings outweigh the cost of each adventure? lost cities is a card game in the kosmos two player series.

Boardgamegeek Explore our lost cities board game review: strategic depth, easy to learn, high replay value, and quality components. a must read!. We got down to business, read the rules, and were on our way to playing our first game of lost cities. it sounded simple, too simple. just play cards in order to devise routes for your expedition and make sure you have enough to pay the cost of these so called expeditions. The goal is to amass points by playing several cards of the same suit, following these restrictions: number cards must be greater than any previously played card in the suit, and multiplier cards can only be played before any number cards have been played. if a player chooses to discard, a separate discard pile is created for each suit. Verdict: for people looking for a great 2 player only game, i’d call this a “must own” with my highest recommendation. it’s a game that i often find myself thinking about after we’re done playing, thinking about how to refine my strategy for future games, and always looking forward to the next play. likes:.
