Local Tuya Unavailable Hardware Home Assistant Community I for some reason on the 7 13 i lost all local tuya on the ha. nothing has changed with the setting or config. the same tuya devices are still functioning normally with the cloud based tuya integration. you can see the dashboard with the two local nft sensors being unavailable. here is the same device on the cloud based tuya introgration. hi!. Local tuya installed successfully but the devices becomes "unavailable" every morning. if i restart ha, the device becomes available again. when the device is unavailable, i am still able to ping these devices from my desktop. it's just that ha can't detect them until i restart ha.

Local Tuya Unavailable Hardware Home Assistant Community I have 30 40 devices on the iot vlan and they all communicate with home assistant (including the fans on the tuya intrgration). since devices can communicate between ha and the vlan on open ports, i believe the firewall is blocking a port, or ports, that local tuya uses to communicate. After restarting home assistant the devices appear as unavailable, curiously if the device in question goes to the tuya integration in which it appears as available and you turn it on and off then it appears in your local location. I was finally able to corroborate the "unavailable" status in ha with dhcp renew requests from from the led lights. they seem to be happening every 5 minutes on the dot, and the leds are dropping a single ping during the renew. I have a geyser connected via the localtuya integration in home assistant. it generally works fine, but i’ve noticed that it frequently goes into an “unavailable” state throughout the day — sometimes for short bursts, other times longer.

The problem i have multiple tuya smart lights at home. all of them periodically become unavailable in ha. basically every day with rare exception i need to disconenct them from power, connect to the socket again, then use start life app.
