The Aga Khan Foundation Canada S Global Leadership Program Aga Khan Established in 1994 by the ismaili community under the guidance of his highness the aga khan, focus humanitarian assistance (focus) helps communities prepare for and respond to emergencies, as well as helping refugees settle and integrate in canada. The foundation works to address the root causes of poverty and inequality by supporting long term, sustainable development initiatives in asia, africa, and the middle east, while also engaging canadians in global citizenship.
