After a multi round of votes, the jury members select the winners in professional and student categories. the judges evaluate each project based on their own merit; rewarding the most pioneering and ground breaking lighting designs and selecting those standing out.

Advancement from the first to the second round is based on the evaluation of the entry’s submitted short brief of under 100 words and a single page poster of chosen project images. during the second round, those advancing projects are scored by each judge based on a set of ten key criteria.
