Hello everyone! we want to migrate to the lgtm stack for our system, which includes 700 services on a kubernetes cluster. we are currently using a well known vendor, which is costing us an arm and a leg 🙂 we'd be looking to self host as many oss components as possible. Signoz is doing some cool stuff, but i feel like going with lgtm is the safer bet. there's going to be invested time to set it up regardless of the solution you choose here, might as well go with the grafana suite which has much better documentation community. Lgtm stack is pretty proven, especially at scale, and allows a lot more flexibility when it comes to set up, alerting, custom metrics, etc. you are going to have to put some elbow grease to get it set up maintain it, but it's not a huge undertaking. if money really ain't a thing you can always go the datadog new relic route. Sometimes lgtm is fine and sometimes it isn't, there's no need to be this obtuse, outside of clickbaiting to shill your product. theres plenty of interesting subjects to write about with programming without resorting to this kind of cheap rhetoric.
