With the dual lever (which operates both set of brakes at the same time), you would normally have just the clutch on the left side and both the throttle and "dual" brake lever on the right side. it is very awkward to have both a clutch and a brake lever on the left. There's a thread on here somewhere where someone made a dual pull lever out of a single. but on the other hand 10 bucks, more or less, is a small price to pay for one that's ready to go. Is one lever to brake both wheels better than individual pullers? does it matter if you are pulling rim, drum, or disks?.
