The willamette heritage center has introduced a new interactive educational program for children to learn about the railroad history of the willamette valley. Our five acre property is home to fourteen historic structures that vividly weave together the story of the mid willamette valley and the development of today’s diverse communities through permanent and changing exhibits, a research library and archive, a textile learning center, and rentable event spaces. Whc is pleased to offer a variety of classes and workshops for teens and adults. we are currently offering weaving classes in salem, oregon. all skill levels are welcome! enroll today and lock in your spot to start learning a creative new skill. students must be 16 years or older to register.
