Learned Extroversion Luke Staddon Blog Given my willingness to get on stage and sing, or to stand up and present to a room full of people, i suspect that most people would call me an extrovert. it’s very much a learned behaviour, and i’ve come across more and more people recently that would also say the same about themselves. Hi, my name's luke. i write code, mostly a software developer by trade, i create games, write music and run d&d sessions. come join me for musings on each, with only a small spattering of incoherent rambling.
Luke Staddon Is Fundraising For Mind There is so much advice out there these days on how to be the most efficient you can be, on how to optimise your time, or on how to be more productive. it creates a feeling of pressure to be getting something done at all times and at all costs. but everyone needs rest. It sounds obvious to say, but you can’t truly understand a job role if you’re not doing it yet so often we are quick to make decisions for others as if we do truly know what life in their shoes is like. this blog is a very personal reflection on leadership and the cost of losing touch. Different groups and situations work better with different approaches, but for the purposes of this blog let’s speak about one in particular: asking good questions. i truly believe that every single person out there is interesting to speak to it’s just a case of getting them onto the right topic. so the key question is, how do we do that?.
