Laura O Connor Home Dr laura o’connor is a visual artist, researcher and festival co ordinator based in belfast. o’connor’s work combines performance, sculpture, installation, video and digital media to look at the representation of “women” in the media and through cultural narratives. Laura O Connor Home Thanks to laura o'connor, alessia cargnelli, emma campbell, sinéad bhreathnach cashell, and the rest of array for helping us bring it all together. Array, named after the belfast studio space shared by six of its members, is a collective of 11 artists who had worked together as activists before setting up formally in 2019. Members array collective are sighle bhreathnach cashell, sinead bhreathnach cashell, jane butler, emma campbell, alessia cargnelli, mitch conlon, clodagh lavelle, grace mcmurray, stephen millar, laura o'connor, thomas wells. ‘the lay of the land’ is an exhibition curated by array members laura and thomas wells, and invited artists emma brennan, marta dyczkowska, méabh meir, and sally o’dowd, also from cavan. it takes the form of six banners or sigil representing the ancient land splitting black pig’s dyke.
