As we continue to provide our families with the best opportunities for their student athletes to compete, we are pleased to announce that for the 2020 season, we will offer select football at the 9u and 10u level as well as park and rec for k 1 through 6th graders. The georgia football association (gfa) has approved the establishment of a new park & rec select division for the 2021 season. there are a number of working details that will determine the availability of this select division.

Following the regular season, the county will develop a two round playoff schedule featuring the top eight (8) teams in each grade level. the playoff process will culminate with two teams in each grade level competing in the annual “lanier bowl,” representing the season championship. While we cannot practice yet, i encourage all players to work on their conditioning and endurance on their own as this will be an important part of our program and we have lost time working on this aspect due to the pandemic.
