This report, which primarily rests on data collected through iom's displacement tracking matrix (dtm), presents the evolution of the numbers, locations, characteristics, and profiles of displaced populations between 2016 and 2018. Data are collected by interviews with key informants (including local authorities, traditional leaders, representatives of displaced persons and site managers). this dashboard presents the results of assessments conducted between 17 august and 16 september 2021, in 223 displacement locations. Since then, numerous crises, including the lake chad bassin crisis, the crisis in the central african republic and recurring displacement dynamics in libya and sudan have necessitated the development of a coherent approach to monitoring of migration flows to chad. In cameroon and nigeria, respectively 95 per cent and 93 per cent of the tracked population are displaced due to conflict while in chad 10032 per cent of the population tracked by the dtm are displaced because of the conflict.
