This event is designed to uplift and celebrate students who are preparing for prom while recognizing the strength of youth raised by grandparents, kinship caregivers, and single parents.

Many kinship caregivers experience feelings of loss, grief, or denial when a family member’s child comes into their care. our staff are committed to helping caregivers process their emotions, concerns, and fears to better equip them for their kinship journey. The kinship navigator program benefits kinship families, such as fictive kin and siblings, who are raising grandchildren, nieces or nephews in tarrant, erath, hill, hood, johnson, palo pinto, parker and somervell counties.
