Green Energy Demand Time Series Dataset Kaggle For this project, we are going to use the hourly energy demand generation and weather dataset on kaggle to look at energy prices and load. energy forecasting has been described as one of the major fields where machine learning can have a significant impact. In this post, we demonstrate how by building a neural network to predict electricity demand using a real dataset from kaggle, a leading data science repository. In this video, i demonstrate how to build a classification model using python to predict whether energy demand will be high or low. this project uses the electric load forecasting dataset. The proposed framework is tested on two different real world energy demand datasets. the analysis shows that using a simple ml model, such as a polynomial regression model, results in a more accurate prediction than the current baselines used in the energy market.
