Home Peoples Summit We began our people’s summit by navigating the rivers of the amazon, which, with their waters, nourish the entire body. like blood, they sustain life and feed a sea of encounters and hopes. Women’s movements, indigenous peoples, quilombolas, youth, and communities from all backgrounds will come together to craft an agenda that recognizes the deep connection between climate justice and territorial rights.
People S Summit The event will continue until november 16 at the federal university of pará (ufpa), guamá campus, in belém. a delegation of 1,300 landless peasants from the amazon region and all over the country marched through the capital of pará to join the boat parade. We bring together an amazing lineup of speakers to discuss powerful and actionable ideas with the thousands of participants who join us from all over the world.
