In 2023, ior opened their new lytton terminal facility which comprised a total of 110ml of bulk diesel storage and is one of the largest stand alone diesel terminals on the east coast of australia. Ior owns and operates the lytton terminal, which is located within the port of brisbane precinct in lytton, queensland. the lytton terminal currently consists of three tanks, nominally 49, 42, and 23 million litres, all presently holding diesel.

It has been a year since ior's lytton terminal was officially opened. this site underwent a significant transformation, transitioning from a crude oil facility to an import facility. Located at lytton, the new radar street facility comprises a warehouse for lubricants and general parts storage as well as a workshop, corporate office, truck wash, diesel refuelling station, with bowsers by ior and driver amenities. the site also comes with truck trailer parking hardstand. Upon project completion, anticipated for june 2023, the lytton fuel terminal will be queensland’s largest diesel only import terminal and a champion for fuel security. More than 260 construction jobs have been created as part of a massive $50 million expansion of at the port of brisbane and lytton fuel import terminal.
