It seems almost certain this issue has been introduced since rc2, and i have seen other posts with similar ionic serve browser related problems with live reload. Make sure you have the latest version of node.js and npm installed. That’s just a typescript error, it’s not an actual breaking error. basically it’s typescript saying it doesn’t know what type “type” is, which we should look into.
