Ionic Codova Build Android Error Ionic V3 Ionic Forum I am following the ionic documentation. however after creating a new ionic project and adding android as a platform, i repeatedly fail while trying to build the android platform. Why do they fail? the most important point to keep in mind about these builds is the package.json file is the only source of truth for your app's node dependencies. Everytime i try to build my android platform on ionic i am greeted by the error stating that my java home is invalid whereas it points to the correct path as seen below. i have tried removing and re adding the platform and re adding the paths in the environment variables but nothing seems to work. I don't really know what happened since last time where i built my project successfully, but now i can't make it to build my ionic project for android platform.

Adding the material design icon package back into the ionic project or in my android studio project will result in the build failing on both sides. it’s almost like the folder itself is too large to handle. When upgrading ionic i receive this error when trying to run "ionic build android". i thought it was by setting android home but my bash profile this as ever. not because it is not carrying out the project generation. b….
