She then took a step back… and she came up with intersectionality. this theory casts the net wider it. it looks not just at a single attribute of people, but at people's economic and social identities as instances of something more abstract. there are many groups and identities we all belong to.

This article begins by reviewing how intersectionality has been conceptualized, as well as the implications of varying definitions attributed to intersectionality.
