Advancing Interprofessional Education For Collaborative Practice This summary document is based on a february 2011 meeting focused on advancing interprofessional education, which integrates academic and clinical experiences for students from two or more health professions to collaborate in delivering patient centered care. Governments around the world are looking for innovative, systemtransforming solutions that will ensure the appropriate supply, mix and distribution of the health workforce. one of the most promising solutions can be found in interprofessional collaboration.
