Our future doctors were honored to participate in a clinic hosted by international service learning in ontario village. our medical students embraced this opportunity to provide meaningful community service while strengthening the fundamentals of the patient–doctor experience for our students. International service learning (isl) is a social enterprise that has been offering volunteers practical experience through medical, education, and community enrichment programs, while offering sustainable aid in developing communities for over 20 years. The first, “value added: service learning outcomes for physical therapy students and community partners in belize” by beitman, gahimer, and staples, examines the perceptions of students and community partners involved in the delivery of physical therapy in belize. Awhonn erary with nurses in mind. we ask that all individuals who apply and participate in this program commit to being part of all scheduled activities, which include educational seminars and site visits to clinics, hospitals and or community organizations to provide compassionate.
