Infrastructure Lch Epfl The experimental facility is equipped with a state of the art hydraulic laboratory, featuring a wide range of measurement devices. the facility is specifically designed to carry out experiments and simulations related to the behavior of fluids, solid transport and hydraulic systems. Under the leadership of prof. christophe ancey, assisted by two senior research associates and one technical director, the pl lch staff is composed of about thirty persons. the hydraulic platform benefits from state of the art equipment well suited to fulfilling the three main missions.

Infrastructure Lch Epfl The platform of hydraulic constructions (pl lch) of the swiss federal institute of technology lausanne (epfl) maintains a permanent synergy between teaching, research and services. The pl lch focuses on fundamental research and innovation in hydraulic engineering for a sustainable use of water resources. the main missions of the laboratory include activities in research, teaching and services. In this study, the mechanical properties of the root reinforced "naturally stabilized" sediment deposits in the main river course are investigated with large undisturbed sediment deposit samples . The pl lch focuses on fundamental research and innovation in hydraulic engineering for a sustainable use of water resources. the main missions of the laboratory include activities in research, teaching and services.

The pl lch focuses on fundamental research and innovation in hydraulic engineering for a sustainable use of water resources. the main missions of the laboratory include activities in research, teaching and services. The hydraulic laboratory is used for research, services and teaching activities in the area of hydraulic engineering, hydropower, sediment transport and river engineering. the laboratory is comprised of two levels, over a total surface of 1’775 square meters. This platform provides an interactive interface to view maps and information developed by pl lch (platform of hydraulic constructions) and perl (plant ecology research laboratory) at epfl in collaboration with the région de nouakchott and the cnre (centre national de la ressource en eau) in nouakchott, mauritania. The platform of hydraulic constructions (pl lch) of the swiss federal institute of technology lausanne (epfl) maintains a permanent synergy between teaching, research and services. Geomembrane systems contribute to the maintenance, rehabilitation, and expansion of hydropower plants. they act as an impervious layer to prevent and mitigate water leakage and damage to structures.
