The international maritime employers’ council (imec) is the only international employers’ organisation dedicated to maritime industrial relations. we operate from offices in hampshire, uk and manila, philippines and represent over 250 shipping companies located all over the world.

Pt pertamina international shipping (pis) has entered into a collaboration with the international maritime employers council (imec) with an objective to improve the quality of indonesian seafarers' resources. This agreement is deemed to be incorporated into and to contain the terms and conditions of the contract of employment of any seafarer to whom this agreement applies. the incorporation of this agreement into each seafarer’s individual contract of employment shall be made explicit.
