Iftf designed the visual map as a way to translate a two year collection of newsletters from the rockefeller foundation’s searchlight partners network into a tool for people around the world who are working at the frontlines of catalyzing change in the lives of poor or vulnerable communities. Game guiding was a core strategy for engaging the global community in the catalysts for change game and for synthesizing the complex flow of information in real time. These zones are an amalgamation of ideas built from the ground up by over 1,600 players from 79 countries during catalysts for change: paths out of poverty foresight engine game. each zone suggests a new way forward to building resilient and equitable communities.
