Hate On Tumblr Well, first of all, i apologize for my rudeness (sorry not sorry). i've been here for 5 years. and i can't tolerate it anymore, so i wanna share my thoughts on this network. every post has its own page so you take them seriously. This is a pro artist subreddit made to showcase, prove and expose increasing hate against artist and art hobbyists all over the internet and the world for reasons beyond us, and also show our opposition against it by sharing news, opinions and sources with each other.
Exposing Hate Against Artists I used to roleplay on instagram with deviantart until i got tired and quit with an anxious passion. now, it's getting to the point that every time i play any video game or do anything, i think about it all day and get really angry, thanks to idiots ruining my childhood. It seems to me that if deviantart pops up in conversation on most platforms, a majority of the time it's either in a joking manner ("have you graduated from deviantart yet?") or people being flat out insulting towards it. That’s why i personally don’t recommend deviantart to my friends and family anymore. while the platform itself has potential, its community has become pessimistic, toxic, and often hostile — especially toward talented or new artists. Deviantart is killing itself and will soon be dead for artists, not only because of its ai controversies and overwhelming promotion of ai generated images, but simply because of its awful user. I still use deviantart, mainly to post art and sell adopts, though lately i've been getting closer and closer to just up and leaving it. a big part of the reason being the ai issues you brought up, as well as other issues i have with it.
