Helldivers 2 Review I finally picked up helldivers 2 and it’s safe to say i cannot put this game down. this is live service done right. welcome to yap university. more. Been playing since about two weeks after launch. i absolutely love playing this game. i hate pvp but love cooperative first third person shooters with a leveling new equipment mechanic, so this game absolutely ticks all my boxes. it's easily one of my favorite games in a long, long time.

Over the next few days, i was bombarded with video clips of people having fun, memes of the game, and my favorite content creators playing it. so, i figured i'd give it a chance. it's a product meant to be fun, after all. worst case, i could refund it. i was very quickly hooked. I’m deep into helldivers 2’s progressions system at this point, and i still look forward to unlocking new stuff, which is pretty rare in the microtransaction riddled modern world. Checked back in with this patch and, pending a few missions on a couple of harder difficulties just to see how things scale with the new changes, i'm considering switching my review back to positive.
