Hydro Help Driftworks Forum Anyone els find the driftworks braided hydro lines too short? been rooting at the womans car all day trying to find the best shortest route to run her driftworks hydro lines. There are no hydro lines to the shoes, cable only, the hydro lines go straight to the calipers. switching to the skyline 300zx setup will improve it, but because the caliper is better and the disc is bigger, not because of the drum bit.

The other more sensible option is to change the hydro cylinder to one with a line in and out, were the singal line from the front going to the rear brakes is redirected through the hydro and on to the back breaks before they spilt into two lines. It takes a fairly big fucking amount of force on the hydro handle to get the rear wheels to lock, so much that i actually snapped the bracket i fabbed up for it. I bought the driftworks hydro handbrake w wilwood cylinder and i got the braided input and output lines to go with them. i’ve gone to fit it all in and i’m struggling to work out which way the lines plumb into the cylinder. I fitted a driftworks hydro handbrake set up to my 14a and its locks up the tits even with cheapo pads. the only time they wont lock is when the pads are cold, just hold the hydro on for a few secs and bam locks up easy.
