When our work began in 1950, our approach was simple. we provided food and shelter for children in orphanages through child sponsorship. but we’ve learned a lot since then. now we offer a full solution to poverty and injustice issues — and make it sustainable so it lasts.
Planned Giving World Vision For over 75 years we've been working with communities, donors, partners, and governments to transform the lives of the world's most vulnerable children. together, we tackle poverty at its roots, working with communities for long term change, so progress is continued long after we’ve left. World vision began working with communities, health providers, faith based organisations and people living with hiv and aids to encourage an end to stigmatisation, better understanding of hiv prevention and community care for those living with aids, and orphans left behind by the pandemic.
