How To Change The Position Of Volume Osd Help Kde Discuss
Change Volume Osd Position Development Kde Discuss Does anybody know how to change the position of volume osd that appears when i change the volume level through keyboard? i know that there is a lot of topics in the internet discussing this, but no of them seem to work. The other blocks, iconitem, progressbar, heading percentagelabel and heading label only affect elements within the osd, not the entire osd's positioning, so i know the correct call should be invoked in rowlayout.
Change Volume Osd Position Development Kde Discuss Is there a way to change the position style of the volume change popup in kde? i have wondering as how to do this, i know that i can disable it entirely, but that’s not what i am looking for. Having the osd in the middle of the screen is quite annoying — you want to turn up the volume while watching a movie, and this thing pops up over the video for a couple of seconds. I started using fedora kde, i’m loving it so far, but i don’t really like the osd position, it kinda stays in the middle of the screen, not too beautiful for the user. i want to change the position. how can i do it?. I am on mint 17.2 kde, and the volume osd is in the center near bottom of the screen. how do i move it and or change the vertical horizontal setting? remember, changing the vertical horizontal inside kmix settings did not change the orientation.

Running kubuntu 22.10 with plasma 5.26.3, frameworks 5.100.0, qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0 23 on ryzen 5 4600h, amd renoir, x11fwiw: it's always useful to state the exact plasma version ( distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help. Setting it this way changes the layout for all osds that use that ugly center block. of course, normal system notifications use a different system one that is actually configurable, fortunately. If you dislike the volume change to pop up, it can also be disabled by right click on the volume icon > configure audio volume, and you disable the visuals for changes that occur …. Replacing or overriding the system’s own qml code at runtime has the potential to introduce severe stability and reliability problems, and we made the decision to remove this feature.
