My initial plan was to build it out to a 496, but as i quote of prices, it seems it might be a little too much for me. so my question is this. what if i were to build a 468 with a nice set of heads, say afr 265's. if i were to build the 496, i would not be able to but a goos set of heads. I've had sbc's and once you get finished with your 496 and feel the power you'll never got back to a small block. if you source the parts right you'll get the short block done under 2k and you can source out for some good flowing aluminum heads. The monster sized 8.1 big block is back together where hopefully it can make more power than before! i'd love to make 1,000 horsepower on the stock rotating.
