Housing Basic Needs Queer Ri Haus of codec is providing a safe shelter space for youth ages 18 – 24 to call home and help them find their own, more permanent housing solutions and workforce development opportunities. At crossroads, persons get connected to case managers, education and employment services, emergency services, temporary shelter, and access to affordable housing. crossroads provides the only lgbtq specific shelter in the state of rhode island, open to both individuals and couples.
Housing Basic Needs Queer Ri Haus of codec is an emergency housing service for individuals 18 24 at risk for and or experiencing homelessness in rhode island. haus of codec has three housing programs, an emergency shelter, a transitional housing program and rapid re housing program. Assists lgbtq youth with housing. rhode island coalition for the homeless, the coalition works collaboratively to create and advance lasting solutions to prevent and end homelessness in rhode island. The organization advocates for the policy needs of lgbtq youth, which includes testifying at the state house, attending rallies and addressing the needs of youth in schools or in out of home care. Many of the resources listed are geared towards children, adolescents, young adults, and parents families.
