Hospital Disaster Preparedness And Capacity Building Training Commences The main objective of the training is for doctors and medical practitioners to be prepared for any hazards that nagaland is vulnerable to. the training also aims to develop hospital disaster management plans for all district hospitals, chcs, and phcs. The said capacity building initiatives intends to develop knowledge, skills and capacities of district level health officials for improving preparedness and response to manage public health emergencies and health impacts of disasters, so that they are able to manage and improve services in their districts.
Chub Hospital Staff Trained In Disaster Risk Reduction To Handle Aiims bhubaneswar launches a six day training program to boost hospital disaster preparedness, covering triage, fire safety, and emergency response. Aiims patna has launched a six day #capacitybuilding training programme on hospital preparedness for #health emergencies (23–28 february 2026). Aiims bhubaneswar conducted this six day training programme in collaboration with the disaster management cell, ministry of health and family welfare. the programme was designed to help hospitals respond effectively during disasters while ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services.

Day 1 of the training focused on key topics such as disaster management principles, safe hospitals, the #disastermanagement act, and the hospital #emergency incident response system (heirs). This marks the first time aiims bhubaneswar implemented the programme, and it was the fourth training program under the national initiative to enhance hospital disaster preparedness across india.
