Studio access during our term opening hours to come along & muddle unsupervised. firing fees are extra, & will depend on how much work you produce. we charge either by kilo ($12 per kg), weighed at the end of the firing cycle; or by kiln load (in the small kilns: k1 & k2). Are you a ceramic artist or potter who would like to propose a workshop that you host at muddle? please add your details below and we will get in contact. we do not offer kiln space for hire, we just don’t have the capacity. the only firing service we know of in hobart is derwent ceramics in moonah. Come along to the muddle studio for an evening of tailored hands on classroom projects, backed up with some strategies to make classroom clay projects run smoothly.
