Home Climate Emory
Home Climate Emory Since 2015, emory has sent student delegations to the annual un climate talks. in 2021, emory president gregory l. fenves joined race to zero, a coalition of educational institutions devoted to achieving zero carbon emissions. The emory climate analysis and solutions team (ecast) provides a forum for emory community members to conduct climate related analyses, advance climate solutions, and host events that aim to increase our members’ capacity to take action.
Home Climate Emory The primary goal of the emory climate and heath research incubator is to identify and pursue climate and health research projects that can have a significant impact on society. The goal of this project is to understand the challenges to creating a more healthy, equitable, and sustainable food system that ensures both human and planetary wellbeing in response to climate change. In the coming years, the initiative will seek to expand faculty involvement in climate related research, teaching and action, while collaborating with other emory teams working on sustainability and climate issues. The emory climate & health actionable research and translation center (chart) aims to become a hub that will advance and translate research on climate risks to protect the health of urban under supported populations.
