There are free art activities for all to enjoy that connect to the exhibition ‘ holdfast ’ by ann ensor, which is showing in the ground floor gallery. you are invited to engage with the themes and ideas presented in ‘holdfast’ in a creative, fun way. ‘holdfast’ was an immersive installation which explored the aesthetic properties and the environmental significance of kelp seaweed. ann ensor’s work combined sculpture, drawing, sound and text to explore the environmental issues surrounding seaweed.
