Here Is Proof That The Anti Cheat Doesn T Work In The Slightest R
Are We Anti Cheat Yet For the warriors ready to accuse me of cheating, my ingame name is in the video so check for yourselves. i have been playing fps all my life, i am masters on apex and been top 500 in trials on destiny 2 before. nobody's responded to this post yet. add your thoughts and get the conversation going. Solution: go to program files x86 in whatever drive you've installed it on and delete the easy anti cheat file there. go to the game files of sea of thieves and also delete that eac.exe if it's there.
Here Is Proof That The Anti Cheat Doesn T Work In The Slightest R Tried launching the eac installer from the game folder and it doesn't do anything. tried verifying integrity and reinstalling, still nothing. tried running the game as admin, no effect. I think the anti cheat software just doesn't detect the update yet as safe correct so it doesn't run. there seems to be a timing issue between people getting access to the update, and the anti cheat whitelisting the game and allowing the game to run. Eac on windows requires administrator privileges to actually function as an anticheat, which is understandable. however on linux it is ran as a normal user. therefore meaning anything you run with "administrator" permissions, the anticheat cannot see. No one is saying it’s fool proof or doesn’t need significant improvement, but to claim they have “essentially no anti cheat” and “doesn’t do anything” is just wildly false.

Anti virus software might sometimes mistakenly identify easy anti cheat files as malicious and block them, preventing the game from launching. to solve this, you can add the easy anti cheat installation folder and the game’s executable file to your anti virus program’s exception list. Hey y'all i found a fix that worked for me, i deleted dota through steam and then installed it again from 0, and afterwards the error doesn't appear when i queue anymore and i can get into my server. I spectated him for 7 mins and he did things like turning around 180 degrees, and ping enemy here on terrain and guess what? 2 seconds after the ping, an enemy appears from cover =) im gonna keep an eye on his account and see how long he is allowed to play =).
