Hey so i’ve been looking to getting a new monitor for a new pc that i got but don’t really know what i should be looking for or what’s better than another monitor, so i was wondering if y’all had any suggestions?. Hi! currently struggling to connect my macbook to my monitor. specifically using my macbook as a dock in clamshell mode whilst connected to the monitor via a usb hub. the issue is the usb port which, when connected to my macbook, allows me to use my wireless keyboard and power my macbook. I'm currently in need of a monitor. i'll mostly be coding or excel, and looking at things with a white background during work. and some gaming for fun, nothing competitive so i don't need cutting edge response time. i notice a lot of monitors can feel too bright and harsh on the eyes when looking at white backgrounds for prolonged periods of time. I currently have a 27inch 1440p and a 23inch 1080p monitor, but i'm building a new pc with a 4080 so i'm planning on upgrading. i'll move the 2 old monitors for home office only. Which would give me a great 4k monitor focused on productivity and a decent 1440p for gaming when i need it, kind of the best of both worlds without breaking the bank.
