The Accessibility Demand For Audio Captcha
The Accessibility Demand For Audio Captcha

The Accessibility Demand For Audio Captcha Hearing based "i'm not a robot" quizzes play audio clips that read out the text or letters presented in the captcha. these recordings usually feature some form of background noise, which is intended to fool bots that try to interpret the audio. This study explores the current designs of auditory captchas to see how well our “cocktail party ability” performs when interacting with different captcha designs.

Audio Captcha Solving Service Online Audio Captcha Recognition And In this work, we propose recapgen, a system that uses asr for generating secure captchas. we evaluated four audio captcha schemes with 60 sighted and 19 visually impaired participants. In this paper, we propose advcaptcha, a novel audio captcha generated by using adversarial machine learning techniques. by conducting studies with people with and without visual impairments, we show that advcaptcha can outperform the status quo audio captcha in security but not usability. We chose to study the two populations, because audio captchas have been traditionally used as an alternative to visual captchas for people with visual impairments, while recently with the growth of speech based interfaces, audio captchas will be relevant for sighted users as well. This article proposes two different audio captcha schemes that systematically exploit differences between humans and computers in terms of auditory perception and language understanding, yielding a better trade off between usability and security as compared to currently available schemes.

This paper proposes a novel audio captcha system that requires a user to respond immediately after hearing a short and easy to remember cue in its mixture with background music. A new sound based captcha is proposed in this paper, which exploits the gaps between human voice and synthetic voice rather than relays on the auditory perception of human. Abstract audio captcha is a reverse turing test to discriminate the user as human or bot using audio as a medium. as w3c guidelines mandate the need of accessibility of web for people with disabilities like visual or motor impairment, audio captcha is an essential form of captcha for web security. To address the issue, this paper proposes a new mechanism for captcha called hearact, which is a real time audio based captcha that enables easy access for users with visual impairments. the user listens to the sound of something (the "sound maker"), and he she must identify what the sound maker is.
