Healthy Living Program Saaac Our 10 week program will teach students, and their caregivers, strategies for active living, healthy eating, and social skills building, which will be delivered by health and wellness experts. full payment for the program is required at least two weeks prior to the start date. Our unique 10 week journey is designed to help young adults on the autism spectrum (ages 13 25) and their caregivers to lead active, healthy lives. we offer a multi faceted approach that combines strategies for active living, healthy eating, and social skills building.

Healthy living conducts impactful, innovative community engaged intervention research to improve the lives of all texans and beyond. specifically, our projects seek to increase physical and mental health, especially within disproportionately affected communities. Our living and learning program participants are practicing an important everyday skill—doing laundry. from watching a demonstration to working together to remove clothes from the dryer, to folding and organizing in the classroom, each step helps build independence and confidence.
