Green New Deal London Visioning Event Action Network Green new deal uk exists to build the people power and political power we need to win a transformative green new deal in the uk. we create and launch projects to further this aim, including green new deal rising, build back better, and work with policy researchers. The green new deal is a practical plan for tackling the interlinked crises of inequality and climate breakdown. in the uk right now, most people are finding it harder and harder to meet their basic needs, while a tiny few profit from exploitation of our labour and the natural world. This session will give participants the space to think big for their local area and unlock the best ideas. the ideas that participants come up with can be channelled into policy formation for your local green new deal organising, as well as acting as an entry point for recruiting new activists.
