Zero Global Cleantech Insights Withpurpose Zero Global As part of the funding competition, we aimed to look for innovative ideas and technologies that will optimise well management through automation and minimise intervention requirements to maximise production efficiency and economic recovery. This initiative assessed cutting edge methods designed to address the industry’s most urgent operational and sustainability challenges in well integrity evaluation. The formalization of well integrity as a distinct engineering and management discipline gained significant momentum following several high profile industry incidents that tragically highlighted catastrophic failures in well barrier systems. In this review we investigate the current state of the art in well integrity management across the industry ranging from operator practices to regulations, with the aim of identifying industry knowledge gaps within well integrity practices and management from both operators and regulators. Pioneering a new era in well integrity assurance: landmark application of instrumented coiled tubing with fiber optic telemetry combined with advanced cement mapping tool for real time cement evaluation and production stimulation in complex jurassic reservoirs — first successful deployment in kuwait’s deep wells. Ensuring efficient and robust engineering support for well integrity is essential for maintaining process safety and avoiding financially complex recoveries.
