Hyperspeedcube (hsc) is a modern, beginner friendly 3d and 4d rubik’s cube simulator with customizable mouse and keyboard controls and advanced features for speedsolving. it’s been used to break numerous speedsolving records and runs on all major operating systems plus the web. This solved all problems: now it takes about one second to find a solution, even on raspberry pi. this was good enough for this project. i have published both python and c versions of the solver on github. moving the assembly next step was to build a program that would actually control the machine.
