Great falls artist bob gilbert is exhibiting in the great falls library from jan. 2 to feb. 1. he will be displaying over 30 original oil paintings of manhattan. Come and join your neighbors for a cup of tea at the library on the first wednesday of each month at 3 pm. we’ll have tea, cookies and conversation. come alone or brig a friend! the next dates are wednesday, jan 7th, feb 4th and mar 4th. This exhibit celebrates the gilbert residents who proudly served in our armed forces. with numerous uniforms, flags, weapons and many other items donated by gilbert residents and veterans, this room offers an interesting local perspective to world wars i & ii, the korean and vietnam wars. Brings together for the first time treasures from the two greatest libraries in the english speaking world—the british library and the library of congress—in order to illuminate the relationship between the two countries.
